9 Tiniest Apartments in the World Will Have You Wondering….

With the price of real estate soaring in the trendiest neighborhoods around the world, residents have been forced to get creative- and tiny- with what they call “home sweet home”. But with entire apartments smaller than most American bathrooms, these tiny abodes will have you wondering, where does it all fit?!

Estate agent Gordon Blausten showing the former storage cupboard, Tuesday May 24, 2005 which is being let in London for a rent of 135 pounds (196 euros/$247) a week. Measuring just 62 square feet (18.9 square meters), the converted cupboard could well be the smallest flat in the capital. Its living space is just 7ft 6in by 3ft 4in (2.29m by 1.005m approx) - into which a kitchenette, shower room and wardrobe space have been squeezed. The bed is on a raised platform measuring just 7ft 6in by 3ft (2.29 by 0.91m approx) and is reached using a ladder. The property, located in an Edwardian block in Pembridge Villas, in Notting Hill, west London, was converted into an apartment in 1980 by one of the directors of the company which held the freehold on the building.
